These are some of my must have extensions and themes for Firefox, a free, open source web browser by Mozilla. Check them out and give them a try. I think you will agree, these extensions and themes extend the functionality and look of Firefox well beyond that of Internet Explorer. With Adblock and Flashblock, they also make it much more secure in my opinion. Some are more suited for web developers (marked with WD), but I add most of these extensions to every install of Firefox I do.
Extensions
Adblock Plus – Ever been annoyed by all those ads and banners on the internet that often take longer to download than everything else on the page? Install Adblock Plus now and get rid of them.

Font Finder (WD) – Simply highlight a single element (e.g. a paragraph or a strong tag ), right-click and select `Font Finder`, then marvel as the full CSS text styling of the selected element appears.
Search Status (WD) – Display the Google PageRank, Alexa rank and Compete ranking anywhere in your browser, along with fast keyword density analyser, keyword/nofollow highlighting, backward/related links, Alexa info and other SEO tools.
Thunderbird Biff – This add-on provides a visual indicator of new Thunderbird mail availability in supported clients (Firefox, Sunbird) and Thunderbird itself.
URLbar Extender – Extends the Location Bar with set of commands to Make Tiny URL, Copy URL, Search site, Go up, Tag pages easily , Navigate through sequential URL’s, View page cached version, Unblock filtered websites and Surf anonymously using online phproxy servers.

My buddy Marvin the Martian on myspace turned me on to another good one.

I’ll have to make sure I include that on the next one. It is definitely a handy extension. I also like the variations of weather icons available for it and they are easily installed.

After using ForecastFox for a while, I noticed that Firefox was using much more memory than normal. After researching this, it has come to my attention that ForecastFox has a memory leak problem. Therefore I will not be including it in the next one.
