The Setup

Some say that it can’t be proven that the government had something to do with the OK City bombing and 9/11. From what I have seen, I would have to say otherwise. But I think that anyone that knows anything about what happened on Mt. Carmel just outside of Waco in 1993, can’t say the government didn’t have something to do with that. There are some very strange things that happened over those 51 days.

The Branch Davidians were a break off of the Seventh Day Adventist Church. It was started in the 1930′s. They came to Waco sometime around this period. They were fire and brimstone preachers that talked alot about Revelations, Armageddon, and the end times. They seemed to just want to live in peace and not be bothered. They got more than bothered, they got killed.

The ATF showed up there to serve a search warrant that they had accidentally left back at base camp. The search and arrest warrant was for alleged firearm violations. They claim they were stockpiling weapons, manufacturing machine guns, and explosive devices. Some of the members of the Branch Davidians were licensed firearm dealers. Firearm dealers usually stockpile weapons, it is called inventory. It is widely known that they were seen at many gun shows selling firearms. Legally. Since the compound burned to the ground and then the government had it bulldozed and most of it hauled away, the other two charges can neither be proved nor disproved.

The ATF called the press the night before to make sure they could get ahold of them, in case they seized a big stockpile of weapons. The ATF needed a big bust to make sure that they got their funding next year. They lied to the US Army to get them to let them use their base for training and helicopters for the raid. They told them it was a drug raid because this is the only way the Army can legally get involved in civil law enforcement. There was never any evidence the Branch Davidians had anything to do with drugs.

There have also been allegations of statutory rape, but no credible evidence has been brought forward. Even the sheriff said that had been investigated before, but could not be brought to trial because of lack of evidence. The same sheriff that said he liked David Koresh and the Davidians, and that they were all nice people that he had talked to on many occasions. The ATF has no jurisdiction over these charges, anyway. Child Protective Services weren’t even there the day of the raid.

To be continued…….
