Obviously that is important, and we must keep seperate church from state... but that is a false analogy here.

I'll play devil's advocate for a little while. LOL

Why is it so important to keep seperate church from state?

You don't make sense. If I were President, I would want to surround myself with people that were most qualified for the job. Duh!

No you wouldn't... 'cause you still have to trust them.  It's a lot easier to get things done when you know the people working with you have the same beleifs and goals.

Do you know what the definition of trust is?

Consider this basic fact, your idea of what's best and most qualified decision making might be very different from the popular view.  So how is whom most qualified for what job can be argued.  All this leaves us with TRUST. Duh!

This is why we can't have Free Masons running things. That is the most fucked up sack of double talk I think I seen on this forum yet. How can you justify putting unqualified people in to positions of power because you trust them? That's makes no sense.

When did I ever write they'd be UN-qualified?

But of course anyone who beleives an un-qualified politician hasn't been in office 'cause of a good 'ol boy network (of whatever kind) is naive.

So the law that you'd create would ban members of masonic, skull and bones (and other fraternaties of your choosing) from holding high office?  Or from choosing their cabinet?  Who would choose for them?  Please, you're not being clear on what you want.

What "solution" to what "problem" are you proposing?

Are you suggesting we create a new law based on associations and their activities, and how that relates to politicians?

Please explain.

I never claimed to have a solution to anything. Those are just words you put in my mouth between calling me a nazi and a communist.

It doesn't matter whatever kind it is, it ALL needs to be weeded out. That's all I been saying the whole time. I'm not picking on Free Masons. It needs to go away from the good 'ole boy networks and go back to being for the people by the people. That is supposed to be the way it was set up.

Ok, maybe that was a bad choice of words. Please justify giving positions of power to less qualified people because you trust them?

What, do you live in a fucking utopia?  'Cause that's what you're describing.  Hey!  We live in the real world.  How do you propose we weed it out?  Why do you beleive that is the way it was "set up" when so many of our founding fathers were masonic lodge members???  Do you honestly beleive they would want to be treated differently simply because they sourounded themselves with friends and associates they could trrust?  Friends that have promised them they would follow certain ways of life?  IMHO what they beleive is probably the best way since it practices being true, clean, honest, dependable, and perhaps most important of all, honorable.

With thousands of friends like that all over the world, no wonder the organization was once so scary and powerful (it's not anymore).

Because that's what it says in the Constitution.

PS......You can't use html. If you want a break, just hit return and go to the next line. The forum registers that as a line break.

How is belonging to a fraternaty not "for the people, by the people?"  How is that violated?

Sure, in a utopia, in a perfect world... everyone would behave and belive the same ideals.  And no one would argue.  And so there wouldn't be a need for associations and good 'ol boy networks... and organizations like the KKK (LMFAO 'cause krakr is a wanna be member of kkk and that in itself is a good ol boy network) -

krakr, do you see know that what you are describing is a utopia (in your opinion)?

How many niggers have I hung? How many crosses have I burnt in people's yards? If I wanted to be a member of the KKK, I guess that would be a good place to start.
