Think that we've sent you some kind of junk e-mail? Nope: it's not us!  Put simply, you are  NOT receiving emails or viruses from masonicinfo.com! (In fact, MANY of those we see being rejected come from addresses such as Mary @ masonicinfo.com - a totally fictitious address since the only one we use with a name is ours!

The Klez email worm infects computers running Windows and spoofs the return address on the messages it sends using Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Outlook Express out to mask the location of the infected machine. The 'Doom' (and its variations) seems to do the same.

You should know, though, that we use an e-mail program which is immune to the type of address book stealing and identity spoofing that has become so common these days. Further, we use two anti-virus programs to screen all of our files, we update them twice daily, and we refuse to accept files with attachments without prior arrangements. While we feel we are (almost) immune from infection by the Klez worm and others, many folks - both Masons and anti-Masons -  are sadly unaware of viruses in their own machines and likely they're spreading these things accidentally. Because we're in SO many address books, it's inevitable that some of the spoofing would use our address as the fake. We apologize for any inconvenience but assure you: "It isn't us!".

This is the explanation that they gave at http://www.masonicinfo.com for if you think they are sending you viruses. What a bunch of elitist fucking assholes. Someone should hack their system and show them that there aint no email system that's immune to anything. Especially when your running windows. Which if they run the anti-virus they claim they run, they are using windows or mac.

Quote from: masonicinfo.com
Here's what was written in the world's oldest known Anti-Masonic document:

TO ALL GODLY PEOPLE IN THE CITIE OF LONDON

Having thought it needful to warn you of the Mischiefs and Evils practiced in the sight of God by those called Freed Masons, I say take care lest their Ceremonies and secret swearings take hold of you: and be wary that none cause you to err from Godliness. For this devlish Sect of Men are Meeters in Secret which swear against all without their following. They are the Anti-Christ which was to come leading Men from their Fear of God. For how should Men meet in Secret Places and with secret Signes taking Care that none observe them to do the Work of God: are not these the ways of Evildoers? Knowing how that God observest privilly them that sit in Darkness they shall be smitten, and the Secrets of their Hearts layed bare. Mingle not among this corrupt People lest you be found so at the World's Conflagration.

You two are fucking halarious!  Nothing to be afraid of with the lodge, they do a lot of good all over the world.  BTW, many of their members are very, very old.  And not savvy with email and viruses... so the lodge is stating what I've had to explain to people about masking - email addresses are masked all the time, and there are certainly griefers that would send out masses of emails masked with lodge address just for fun.

Also, you can be "(almost) immune" to these threats, KRAKR, you know this!!!

Stop being scared of this organization and go out and do something productive...lmfao.

Oh - The G stands for GOD.  No particular god or religion, just a higher being.

Also, the symbol is of square and compass and the pyramid is TRUE.  You can't have a square building without have a TRUE foundation.  THIS IS THE BASIS OF THEIR TEACHINGS.  and A LOT of their meetings are OPEN to the PUBLIC.   Get off your dead asses sometime and visit a lodge... you might be glad you did (NOT YOU HONKIE - THEY ALREADY KNOW YOU'RE NUTS AND WON'T WANT TO TALK WITH YOU MUCH)

How can a secret society's meetings be open to the public? That wouldn't be very secret.

Not on an OS you have to run anti-virus on (which they mention on  that page).

1. You can have private stated meetings in an organization where there is trust among members and who are careful who they let in.  Then, invite public in to see the good the organization does, and to decide who might be made of the same character and that would fit in and learn code of conduct.  Nothing wrong with this as long as laws are not broken.

2. What is this really about now, email filters or some scary sinister organization bent on global domination?  Linux has email filters too, scanners and filters so OS has nothing to do with it and is not even mentioned - besides, there are real and dangerous organizations in the world that you could spend your energy on.

Oh - The G stands for GOD.  No particular god or religion, just a higher being.

Hutchinson, who wrote as early as 1776, says, in his Spirit of Masonry:
Quote
It is now incumbent to me to demonstrate to you the great signification of the letter G, wherewith lodges and the medals of Masons are ornamented. To apply it's signification to the name of God is depriving it of part of its Masonic import; although I have already shown that the symbol used in Lodges are expressive of the Divinity's being the great object in Masonry as architect of the world. This significant letter denotes Geometry, which, to artificers, is the science to which all their labours are calculated and formed; and to Masons, contains the determination, definition, and proof of the order, beauty, and wonderful wisdom of the power of God and his Creation.

Sure the G could stand for geometry.  Who cares?

I thought you might like to know that your facts could be a little off. But now I see that you don't.

The translation of the latin?
Annuit Coeptis..........Novus Ordo Seclorum = Announcing the Conception of the New Order of the Secular World

Surely you realize that by posting this blog on this thread I'm pointing out the it is highly unlikley these types of people - this group you are so scared of - has members that are into some pretty funny shit.  They're human, and they aren't conspiring to take over the world.  What most of them do is have good clean (ha ha) fun...!

There are also decent Christians around that don't always preach their bullshit and try to convert you to their cult. They probably write funny little blog posts, too, from time to time. That doesn't mean that I want to go join up with them. Or hang around with a bunch of them.

You have your opinions and I have mine. Why must I change my opinion? Do I not have a right to it? Why is it so important that you change my mind? Why do I HAVE to just live with the fact that their symbols are all over the gov't buildings, seals, and money? Why are they on there? Just for no reason? Yucks and grins?

I mean hell, it isn't like my dislike for any organization is unprecedented. I dislike religion. I dislike the government. I dislike the federal reserve. I dislike Micro$oft. But you act like this is right out of the blue.

The Christians haven't been able to get me to change my mind about their GOD. I doubt anyone will get me to change my mind about secret societies. And for that matter, Micro$oft either.

Oh - The G stands for GOD.  No particular god or religion, just a higher being.

That pretty much says it all. When GOD is mentioned, everything else after that is irrelevant. What they believe. What they say. What they've done. What they've built.
