Are these not facts? The top one says "examples provided". How is that commentary?

No.  They are facts as you and I and Walter know them.  But read again and you will see they are opinions.  Remember that we are at war, a drug war - there are those that feel differently than you, I and Walter.

Also, havn't you ever heard of a news director?  Do you beleive the anchormen just go on and say whatever they want?

Krakr, it doesn't matter.  You are describing an opinion and so your question about these being facts are not true in the absolute definition.  Besides, you should be contributing not bitching.  At least Walt is doing something and speaking out.

Marijuana production is stretching the North Coast resources

Yet another reason to stop the farce of the war on drugs and start regulating pot growers like all other farmers. Consumers should demand the greening of the green, and move growers in the direction of environmentally friendly marijuana.
