Now I know the ewoks sucked royally, but I think the rest of the movie makes up for it.
What is wrong with the ewoks? I am tired of hearing everyone talk bad about the ewoks. You got to understand, when the rebel alliance showed up on Endor, the ewoks were in their primitive stages. (say if they would have shown up on Earth in 3000 BC. I don't think the cave men could have done what the ewoks did). That is why the Empire was there. It was a nice safe place that had no life that was a threat to the Empire, or so they thought. The Ewoks defeated an enitre legion of the Emperor's Galactic Empire, with the help of, as the Emperor put it, Han and Lea's "pitiful little band". That isn't any small feat. For that they have my respect.
I think that given that start, the ewoks could be very formidable, given time. Maybe like a small wookie. I say one day there might even be a tale of Wicket, the Ewok jedi bounty hunter. Even more feared than Boba Fett!
